Meet the Team

Gilad Rom

Founder

Gilad grew up in a Kibbutz in the Israeli countryside surrounded by farm animals, and got his first computer at the age of eight. He felt an instant connection to the machine and taught himself to code a few years later. His interest led him to a job at a small telecom company as a software engineer, setting him on a career path that would have him travelling the world and designing large-scale high-performance software and hardware systems. Most recently, he worked as a Solutions Architect at Ericsson, an international telecommunications company.

Gilad created Huan so no one else would ever have to experience the fear of losing a pet.
